Gail Hi,
I'm me, and I suppose you're you, right? Well, one would assume such anyway - unless one were dizzy. If one were dizzy then they'd have no idea what was reality and what was imagination.

Seriously now - hi - I'm Gail, aka Dizzy - haven't a clue why though? Do you? .......

Lets see, perhaps some stats on this dizzy lady? - hmmmmmm... who am I?... good question. Does anyone ever really know who they are? Ok, here goes nothing - I'm me, yeah, you read it right, me - quiet, shy, tired me - have 5 children and 3 beautiful grandsons - a handful for sure. Left an abusive husband after 23 years - took me long enough to get smart and strong, eh? - and am in the process of taking control of my life, rebuilding and figuring the meaning behind the word 'sanity' - haven't figured out yet if such a thing really exists in my life yet? - oh yeah - 5 ft 3 inches if that matters, and weight - gimme a break, what lady advertises her weight?

Now - things I like - that's easy. I might not know for sure who I am or where I'm going in life, but I DO know what I like! I LOVE children (one would hope so having so many, eh?) - and I love to bake. I make birthday and wedding cakes on occassions. Great fun. Baking and creating with my hands is so gratefying. I also enjoy poetry and creative writing of many sorts. For work I used to do web design - it was fun to a degree, but one gets lonely and tired spending hours and hours at a computer. Pays the bills, but I'd rather have more interaction with people so got a job as a caregiver for people with disabilities (RJV), then went to nursing school and became an LPN. I now work as a charge nurse at a local nursing home and I love it! I am working on continuing my education even further, and besides being an LPN, I'm also now certified in Reiki, Reflexology, Aromatherapy, and EFT. I'll learn other skills as time allows and slowly work towards my RN, then beyond.... I love the outdoors too - a long walk in the evening along the river is divine. Even sitting on a covered porch in a really tremendous lightening storm watching the lightening, listening to the pounding rain, and occassionally putting my face out to let the water fall on it is great fun. .... oh I do love a good summer evening spent like that. The child in me comes out and if not for the lightening and thunder I could run up and down the street barefoot laughing giddily like a child.

Before I bore you any further on this lovely Saturday afternoon I'll be quiet and go for a long walk down to the river and go fishing.... yes, much better way to spend a sunny day than sitting at the computer.

oh yeah, if you like poetry - here's a link for you....

    • My poetry - written by your's truely!

Anyway, be cool - and here's a thought to leave you with....

Whether your day is a good one or a bad one, if you can smile your way through it, it'll be a better one.....
